Hi. I am on an extension of stay that is valid until the end of March 2020 (based on a non-imm F visa - working for the UN). My husband and my daughter have a single non-imm O visa based on being my dependants. We need to extent their visa - extended permit of stay based on being my dependants. What are the document requirements for this extension? (Having difficulty finding the list). And, their current visa expires mid of December. Can we apply for the extension of stay now or do we need to wait? (I.e. what's the timeframe one is allowed to apply for extension before expiry date?)

TLDR : Answer Summary
The post inquires about the document requirements and application timeline for extending a non-immigrant O visa for a spouse and child, who are dependents of a UN employee in Thailand. It states they need an extension of stay before their current visa expires in mid-December 2019. The response suggests contacting the immigration office for specific document requirements like marriage and birth certificates, a letter from the employer, and other related documents. It also mentions that extensions can be applied for when there are 45 days or less left on the current visa.

You can't be the first employee of the UN that needs to have their family get matching extensions based on your working here.

You need to have them call the immigration office and get the list of required documents for their extensions OR you need to go out to the immigration office and get the list yourself. There is no one size fits all list of requirements. Obviously you're going to need the marriage certificate, birth certificates (now whether they needs to be translated into thai or not I dunno), letter from your company stating it's okay to have your family get extensions, your visa, extension, contract, work permit etc

BUT I'm just guess, you need to contact or GO to the immigration office to get the real list.

In Bangkok you can apply for an extension when you have 45 days or less left on your current entry stamp
