Any Aussies in here who've applied for the DTV via Sydney Thai consulate? I'm just wondering what they accept as proof of 500k baht since it seems to differ between embassies? thank you!
(Also, what doc did you use for showing location?)

TLDR : Answer Summary
Applicants for the DTV visa through the Sydney Thai consulate have reported using various documents to prove the required 500,000 baht. One user mentioned they provided a proof of balance sheet from their bank app, while another shared that they submitted a six-month bank statement alongside utility and strata levy bills to demonstrate their address. Experiences may vary, so it's advisable to check with the consulate for specific requirements.
In my application last year in Sydney I provided a bank statement showing 6 months of transactions and a utility bill and strata levy bill to prove address, I had no issues with the application
ask them what. They wanted a record of comings and going from the account which I then provided. I then got my DTV. My point in writing was to state that the Proof of Balance was not acceptable.
I was giving my experience; nothing more. We all know Canberra isnāt Sydney. Itās not a competition. Itās to provide info so folks have a better chance of success in their applications.
what I would suggest to you that the embassy/consulate does not follow a manual. It very much depends on whims of which ever MFA officer picks up your application.
