Is proof of having $15,000 in the bank required for a DTV Visa, or is sufficient income acceptable?

For the DTV Visa. Do you need to have 15k USD in the bank or will enough income be enough to get approved? My question is if you need both or will either one work?

TLDR : Answer Summary
To qualify for the DTV Visa in Thailand, you do not need to show proof of income; the primary requirement is to demonstrate adequate funds in your bank account, specifically a balance of 500,000 THB or its equivalent. Additionally, applicants must provide bank statements for the last three months.

There is no income requirement for DTV. The requirement is proof of funds in the bank.
