Hi everyone 

Finally have my criminal background check and also medical sign off and ready to submit for my retirement visa. 

Do I need to show prove of insurance and have travel arrangements to apply for visa 

I’m not sure when I will travel but wanted to get this part out of the way.

For your type OA retirement visa, you must show that you have medical insurance that covers at least bt40,000 of out patient coverage, and bt400,000 of in patient coverage in order to get that visa. To get your certificate of entry to enter Thailand you must also have insurance that covers at least US$100,000 of covid-19 coverage.

Yes, if you have insurance From America you can use that if it has

100,000. in covid coverage.. You will have to have ASQ and airline to apply for COE.. Background check must be from state or federal level and less than 90 days old from date of travel...
