Hi. I'm South African and so is my wife. I'm working in Thailand and she will get a non o visa based on my work permit and non o visa. She will go to Laos to do that. Could someone please clarify what documentation is required. I have it as follows:
Copy of all relevant pages of my passport
Copy of 1st page of work permit
Copy of marriage certificate
Contract from workplace?
Bank statement? If so, how many months?
Anything else?
Thanks in advance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The documentation required for a South African spouse to obtain a Non-O visa in Thailand includes copies of relevant passport pages, the first page of the work permit, and the marriage certificate. A contract from the workplace and a letter from the employer confirming your Non-B visa and work permit are also necessary. While a bank statement is mentioned, there is no known financial requirement for the Non-O visa application.

There is no financial requirement that I am aware of, although you will need a letter from your employer stating you are on a Non-B visa and work permit and that they have no problem allowing your wife to get a Non-O visa to stay with you.
