Hi all , we planning to do the retirement non o visa next year..me and my husband  from South Africa 

Question : do they ask for proof of flight details when applying online 

Question : do we have to apply separately..and have separately  bank statements showing funds ..

Question : worst case scenario  ... what if one waits longer for approval of visa 

Questions : how long once visa is issued  do we have to get to thailand .

 Would appreciate any advice as the time is near ... planning to move mifld July 2027

If you both want Non-O visas based on being over 50 you both have to apply and meet all the requirements individually. Once the visa is issued you have 90 days in which to enter Thailand and when you do you will get stamped in for 90 days from that point.

If one of you were to get a Non-OA 12 month visa, which requires insurance, medical certificate and police checks, along with the 800k proof, it's possible that the other could apply for a 90 day Non-O visa as their dependant which has no financial requirements.
