Hi, I am based in Bangkok having a valid Visa & Work Permit. Planning to go to India for a month.

Can I apply for a COE & other documents here itself for the return journey? Will there be any implication? What's the best way to streamline this trip hassle free?

Need some guidance please...

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user in Bangkok with a valid Visa and Work Permit seeks guidance on applying for a Certificate of Entry (COE) before traveling to India for a month. Commenters clarify that the COE can only be issued by an embassy or consulate, which means the user needs to apply while in India. Additionally, they caution about potential travel restrictions that may arise during the trip.

You seem like a intelligent Person but as normal you want to cut corners how can you apply to com back when you haven’t left plus and a big plus if you go for a month there could be a chance of the boarders being shut again

A COE can only be issued by an embassy or consulate, so you will have to wait until you are in India before you can apply. You can arrange insurance and ASQ here I would imagine, but I can't see what advantage there would be.
