I am a South African, stay in Mae Sot with Retirement visa. Now I am stuck in South Africa for 4 months and can't back to Thailand. My Retirement visa is expired last week (15 July). If anyone knows how to get into Thailand. Some said if I can get a "Certificate of Residency" and other requirements (such as insurance, ASQ, COVID test) then will allow coming in. But the problem is Am I entitled to apply COE? Suggestions are appreciated.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A South African expat currently stuck in South Africa for four months due to an expired Retirement visa is seeking advice on whether they can return to Thailand. The key question revolves around the eligibility to apply for a Certificate of Entry (COE) and the necessary requirements, such as travel insurance and testing for COVID-19. Community members suggest checking with official consulates or embassies, as well as joining expatriate groups for updated information, but express general skepticism about the possibility of returning on an expired Retirement visa.

Would it not be better to ask an actual consulate or Embassy.. whatever advice you get from social media(some right, some wrong) they are not the ones allowing you into Thailand. So check govt pages

I don't think a retirement Visa even if you had a valid one would allow you into Thailand for the foreseeable future. LOook at your countries website is best advice.
