He is just asking a question, so if you can't offer help please keep quiet and keep your toxicity to yourself. If there is an administrator reading this post and comments, please put and end to this type of garbage.
Yes! It’s valid from entry as long as you enter Thailand within 3 mths of issue. You could also have gone to immigration to get a 30day extension rather than change your flights
Sue Williams The issue is with the country I'm departing from, not Thailand. I'm concerned about the airline check-in agent (boarding officer) at the departure airport.
EmeraldBeet5619 i wouldnt worry to much about that they actually have no real authority if you give them a answer they cant debate like you going lao for few days and will get 7day on return etc they probably know less then you but it shows on the system they have to ask
I advised you not to call the airline, but send an email request. As a common rule, if you show a printed e-visa Tourist Visa at the check-in, they will NOT require an onward travel proof. As long as your return flight is within the 90 days that you can achieve on a single entry tourist visa including the extension, you will be fine. Airlines only require onward travels from people flying without a visa, or (sometimes) when flying one way
Omg wow. Onward ticket for $10 is all you needed to buy a day before your flight to show an onward short trip to say Singapore half way through your visit and just have it handy if the airline checkin desk asked just for peace of mind for a strict airline.
Greg Alexander true, don’t show it to immigration now because they have asked for payment evidence, but for purposes of airline checks is a loophole for ticking one of their boxes.
Shaughn Prestidge a while ago, the Phuket Immigration announced that anyone caught out on an onwardticket, will be considered a fraudster and denied entry. It is just standard routine that one rarely gets asked for the onward travel proof by Thai Immigration, unless they see a reason for it
If you have visa in advance 99.99% airline won’t ask you anything.
In that 00,01% chance of they ask you just go on your phone, buy random airline ticket Phuket - Kuala Lumpur or anything out of Thailand within 60 days from your arrival date.
