My application non immigrant O. has been sat at pending approval for almost a week after having resubmitted evidence of funds at their request. My first submission screenshots of wage slips not sufficient. Worried that having transferred from one of my accts £10k on the day of resubmitting and providing bank statement was also not acceptable? Hope I am over worrying. No one answers the phone there in London Embassy, spent hours ,I have sent email too. Do I need to re apply? I would expect the ‘rejected’ to be highlighted in that event.

Anyone!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is concerned about their Non-O visa application pending approval for almost a week after resubmitting financial evidence. They express worry that their recent fund transfer might not be accepted and mention difficulties in contacting the London Embassy for updates. Other community members share experiences of similar delays and reassure the user that processing times can vary, especially with document requests, and emphasize the importance of patience. One user reports receiving a response from the embassy indicating that their documents are under review, highlighting the typical processing timeframe of around 10 business days.

Document requests reset the processing days time clock.

Thankyou everyone for your responses and encouraging confidence.

I just heard back from them. and for everyone else’s benefit and to encourage you lovely people…

‘Thank you for your email.

Your documents are currently under review. Due to the high volume of applications, we kindly ask for your patience during this process. The estimated processing time is 10 business days after the latest submission of the requested documents. However, in some cases, the process may take longer.

We appreciate your understanding and will notify you once there is an update regarding your application’

End.

All peaceful again now. We folk just not like the Radio Silence during such matters.

Thanks again.

I've contacted the Thai Embassy London a few times using -

- and they've answered in 24 hours. When I queried, that my evisa hadn't been issued, they replied that as there was 2 months till my travel date, they'd been prioritising other applications with earlier travel dates

The long wait for the approval could be your traveling date,….let’s assume there is a month to your takeoff,…this could be the reason,…

yes I gave them departure date end of Oct. so perhaps they consider that too.

Currently taking lessons in patience, crucial in this day and age.

When I was asked for further information from the Thai Embassy London, it took a total of 15 working days from the initial submission to the issue of the evisa.

When they asked for the ID card of my sons mother it took over a week for them to check the new documents I submitted as well.

The initial review was fast but the follow up was so long I had to land as a tourist.

When I went through immigration at BKK the lady asked for my e visa - despite it not being approved yet.

nope, nothing you can really do, just wait it out. It's still going thru the process. They'll either approve or reject it and email you

just keep looking for the email or checking the status in the system

You might try messaging them on their official F/B page via messenger sometimes they answer faster that way
