Hello all..I applied for my DTV visa through the London embassy (I’m English and am residing in Liverpool). I received an email back requesting more docs which I sent through. Now I’ve received an email asking me to go to London for an interview. Just wondered if anyone else has had to go to London for an interview and what questions will be asked?I thought my application was pretty strong and straightforward aswell.🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️Also, I have a business class non refundable flight booked on Sept 15th (interview the 8th Sept). If accepted would I be granted the DTV on the 8th? And if for some reason I get declined would I still be ok to leave on the 15th even on a visa exempt 60 day?Many thanks, this group is amazing 🙏

London has interviews once and awhile. They must have concerns with your application. You should reschedule your flight

I can’t unfortunately. Non refundable. Is what it is. If I get declined it’s back to the drawing board and a visa run here and there then maybe off to da nang or the phillipines

SharpPomelo38 when did you initially apply? Surely you followed their directions and gave yourself enough time? Visa runs are being restricted

I had to wait until I had 3 months of invoices and payments from my Australia employer as it’s a new virtual assistant business I set up. I originally applied on the 23rd of August. They requested more docs next day which I sent in, then I get an email 24 hours later asking me to come in for an interview on Sept 8th.

Expecting the 60 day exempt to revert back to 30 days on or around September 15. Royal Gazette expected to publish tomorrow or Tuesday.
