Will changing my flight affect my Thai visa status after approval?

Hey everyone, I have a serious question.

I recently got approved for my DTV, and I’m so happy about it! My flight is currently scheduled for February 24.

However, after getting approved, I received a court letter requiring me to be in the U.S. this April. Because of this, I’m considering changing my flight to June or July.

Will changing my flight affect my visa status or risk it being revoked? I don’t want to lose my visa, but I also can’t miss this court date. I just want to make sure everything will be okay.

Thanks in advance for your help!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The individual is seeking advice on whether changing their flight after receiving approval for a Thai DTV visa will affect their visa status, especially since they have a court date in the U.S. that conflicts with their original travel plans. Responses from the community indicate that changing the flight date will not impact the visa, as it remains valid for five years from the date of issue, and entry timing can be adjusted without risking visa revocation.

The best is to ask your thai embassy who approved your visa. I am not shure

Totally ok. Once you have paid, they could care less if you ever show up. But Visa open for 5 years from date of issue

Your visa has been issued. You can use it anytime and as frequently as you want. I applied with flight date March, but then changed it to the week after approval. No issues

No

No worries, I entered Thailand 3 weeks after the date I had stated in the application. Makes zero difference once the visa is issued.

I think you are fine. It is valid for 5 years from date of issue.

won't make a but a difference, the flight you used to get the visa approved has NOTHING to do with how or when you actually come to thailand.

You won't lose the visa it's valid for entry for the next 5 years

PRINT out the PDF they emailed you (as that IS your visa) and just hand it with your passport to the officer when you stamp in.

You will be totally fine
