TLDR : Answer Summary
The experiences shared by various individuals regarding house visits for marriage visas in Thailand vary significantly. Some report that immigration officers merely took photos outside and did not enter the property, while others experienced a more thorough check with the officers visiting multiple rooms and taking photographs inside. The timing of visits can also differ based on the local immigration office's procedures. Preparations such as cleaning the house in advance might be a good idea to ensure a positive impression.
Varies depending on your immigration office. Mine (living in Sakon Nakhon) came 1 day after I got the extension, and not only did they check every room, but they had me, my spouse, and our witnesses take photos standing in all rooms (unbelievable joke, but TIT 🤷🏻♂️)
