Will it affect my girlfriend's spouse visa if we get married after I obtain my DTV?
Spouse Visa question: I'm planning to get my workcation DTV asap. However my gf and I are also planning to get married later this year.
Would it be an issue for her spouse visa that we only got married after I got my DTV? Or would you recommend first getting married, then doing my DTV, then her spouse visa?
I know this is a long shot and not sure if anyone actually knows for sure, but here goes nothing 😅

Spouse visa kinda sucks. They make you pay not not for the visa but also for re entry. And then if you want multiple re entry they make you pay for that. Also you have to make multiple trips to the immigration office and you can only apply where your wife home address is. Also they do house checks where they want to come into your house to take photos. All in all the whole process is just really annoying.

How much later in the year are you getting married? Your DTV is going to run out before hers since each will be valid from the date of issuance. So do you really want to get your DTV now?
Anyway, it doesn't matter when you get married. They just want proof of the marriage and available funds.
