TLDR : Answer Summary
A Mexican national living in Dubai can explore visa options for Thailand, particularly the Multiple Entry Tourist Visa (METV), which allows for multiple entries over 6 months but does not extend to a full year. The METV can grant up to 270 days in Thailand through 60-day entries. It's suggested to check specific requirements at the Thai consulate in Dubai, as there's often a residency requirement for visa applications.

The short answer to your question; can you get a visa for one year with multiple entries is NO. You can't easily get one.

Your best bet is a 6 month METV.

There is no single entry METV <- multi-entry tourist visa. :/ It's a 6 month multi-entry one. That lets you get stamped in for 60 days and then you exit/re-enter the country to get another 60 day stamp. you do that for the validity of the visa (6 months). You can get almost 9 months of stay in country (in 60 day increments) out of that visa.

Most thai consulates have a residency requirement meaning you get it from a thai consulate in your country or in a country you legally reside in.

As Patrick
@Pat***
pointed out, IF you legally live and work in Dubai you might be able to get it from the consulate there.

Depending on the status you have in Dubai, you can get the METV from there. Check the requirements.

no I am 28 years ..but what is METV and why only from my home country or from Australia only.

Abel Aly you will have to check the rules of the consulate in Dubai as you may be able to get a Multi entry tourist visa there if you're resident. That's good for 270 days, as mentioned. Normally you can only get them in your home country, but in some countries you can legally get them there if you work there

no - you can get a METV in your home country or Australia - which gives you up to 270 days in Thailand. if you over 50 yesrs you can go for Non O - Retirement if you fulfil the financial requirements.
