TLDR : Answer Summary
To obtain a 60-day tourist visa for Thailand, you need to visit a Thai consulate in a neighboring country. It's important to consider your nationality and past entry history into Thailand, as this affects where you can apply. You typically need to provide proof of sufficient funds (20,000 baht or equivalent), onward travel, and a hotel booking. Specifically for Israeli passport holders, be aware of restrictions regarding certain consulates.

Here are the requirements for the thai consulate in Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam. It does not show that Israeli's can't use it so I guess you're fine going there.

asked that I re-open the thread beause they didn't get the answers they were seeking.

They want to know WHERE in the area to go to get a tourist visa and what they require to get one.

Obviously holding an Israeli passport means they can't use ANY consulates in Malaysia. Their entry history is close to them being denied in Vientiane/Savannakhet BUT they might pull it off.

I don't know if Israelis can go to Yangon Myanmar, or the thai consulates in HCMC or Hanoi Vietnam or not.

I did mention to them they are going to have to meet the requirements where ever they go; proof of 20K baht or the equivalent in a bank account, proof of onward travel in 60 - 90 days, proof of a hotel booking

as a rule to get a 60 day tourist visa you GO to a thai consulate in a nearby country and BUY one.

I asked your nationality and entry history because those things matter as far as WHERE you can go to get your tourist visa.

FIRST, you need to state your nationality AND your previous entry history to thailand over the last year
