ORIGINAL POSTER
Just want to give an update - it was regarding my Non-O extension of stay for being parent to Thai children and the required THB 400K in the bank - while the list of requirements/police order does not mention any "seasoning" period, the CW immigration office do require a period of minimum 30 days the fund have to be in the account prior to the application (and additionally, as before, to keep the amount there until date on "waiting for consideration" stamp).

Spoke to multiple IOs about this and even the head dude (the only male IO staff in the cubicle and he sits in the corner part of the L section) he explain how this have been the norm in CW.

I sort of came prepared anyway since I got a backup account whose balance just happen to cover the 30 days period.

Sharing it here, just in case some folks might have read some of the previous post saying no seasoning is required and proceed.

TLDR : Answer Summary
An update on the Non-O extension of stay for parents of Thai children reveals that the CW immigration office requires a minimum 30-day seasoning period for a bank balance of THB 400K, despite this not being officially mentioned in the requirements. Multiple immigration officers confirmed this practice, indicating that even a seasoned account will suffice for the application.

What is "appeal of denial" in Thai please

Actually I don't anticipate any problems at all when I extend sometime in November I just saw the phrasing and wanted to know. Thanks

We're not gonna get into a thai lesson.

Believe me just feeding you that term is NOT gonna help you.

No disrespect but IF your thai isn't hard core enough to carry on a semi-intelligent conversation about visas/extensions etc in thai knowing the words for "file an appeal" (ยื่นอุทธรณ์) isn't gonna really cut any ice with them.:O Good luck though :)

Yep, they've been telling people that for a while now. AND while it's not in the rule (AND if you said you wanted to file an official written appeal of denial they'd back down on it) as long as you could meet there imagined requirements you're good.

Thanx for the update..
