What visa options are available for Bosnian nationals with a German passport holder to stay in Thailand for 96 days?

Hi I need some advices about the visa. I think our case is complicated ๐Ÿ˜ฑ.

Me and my family wants to stay 96 days in Thailand. We are living in Germany but me and my husband have Bosnian passports, with permanent residence permit.

Our 3,5 years old son has the German passport.

Now I know that we Bosnians, have to apply for the tourist visa in advance.

So we have some options/ questions:

1. My and my husband will apply the multiple entry visa 60 days. After 59 days we will go to Cambodia some days and come back and get 60 days again. Right?

2. We apply the 60 days single entry. Then we apply in Thailand for a extend for 30 days. And at least we apply for a tm7 extension of stay, will get a rejection and get 7 days to leave.

3. Like 2. But we will apply the extend for 30 days, for 14 days later. Because we will leave the country for 14 days. Is this possible?

4. how do we handle it for our son? Can he travel without a visa and get it on arrival? Like German adults? Or is it better to do it the same like we?

I hope someone can give me some advices. The embassy is really hard to contact.

Thinking about it, IF all you're doing is needing that 96 days and then you're leaving

1 - get a single entry tourist visa online from the thai consulate in Germany,

**get stamped in for 60 days,

2 - take the one 30 day extension you're allowed for 1900baht

and

3 - then if you have to take the 7 day get out of dodge extension denied stamp for 1900baht more

That gives you just about 96 days in country

APPLY for the visa using the online system and see if they ask for other documentation.

about 3. If you get and enter on SETV for 60 days, you can apply for 30 days tourism extension for ONCE. These 30 days will be added to your entry stamp bringing your stay up to 89 days from the arrival date regardless when you apply for a 30 days tourism extension.

so do u know is it possible to apply for 2 visas? So no extension, here from home in Germany?

1. First a TR 30 days visa.

2. And a 2. TR Visa 60 DAYS, for the date 3 weeks later when we will leave the first time ?

There is no such thing TR30 day visa. A tourist visa is for 60 days entry. You cannot apply for a second visa while you have a valid visa of whatever type. No, you cannot hold two visas at the same time. You need to apply for a second visa when you visit the neighboring county.

Option 1 lets you stay longer

you CAN apply for the 6 month METV (if you meet the requirements) as a bosnia passport holder in Germany WITH permanent residence.

is it right we need to show 5000โ‚ฌ per month? Ist per person or as a family? Its a really high number. I can't understand why

It is what it is, you either meet the requirements and get the visa or you don't

That is set by the consulate, you need to read on their website what the requirements are

Also if you decide to get the single entry tourist visa, get the 60 days, extend by 30 more DO NOT take that 7 day extension denied stamp if you can avoid it.

It is a stamp you need to avoid having if you're trying to get out and back in to the country by land with cambodia.

As far as your 3.5 y/o child I'd just bring them in on a free visa exempt entry for 45 days and let them overstay. There is no overstay fine for children under 15 and no overstay banning for children under 18.

you will have to show that you're leaving thailand in 60 days (you can't just SAY you are) and then you're coming back after that, OR they won't sell you the METV they'll just sell you a single entry and keep the difference in fees
