Is there any logic to what time of day appointments are released on the Bangkok Immigration queue booking website? [members only]/ I know the max you can book ahead is 30 days, most of the time it shows everything full.

Answer summary

The user inquires about the timing of appointment releases on the Bangkok Immigration queue booking website, noting that it often shows as full despite the maximum booking window of 30 days. Comments suggest clarifying the type of extension being applied for, indicating that the inquiry may relate to changing the reasons for existing extensions rather than applying for new visas.

you aren't applying for any new visas 😮

all you're doing is cancelling the current extensions (yours based on employment, theirs based on being dependents) and changing the reason for the new extensions (yours based on raising foreign children here and theirs based on education)

There is no choice for what you want to do for an appt.

You show up, cancel the extensions for the kids based on dependent of a foreigner working here,

then go to section N and apply for a new extensions based on education,

then you cancel your extension based based on employment,

and apply for a new extension based on raising foreign children here on an ED visa

you don't use that choice to change one extension to another

you just show up and queue up

Rephrasing my question slightly then, if i'm just showing up, is there a recommended day of week or time of day to show up to minimize overall time spent queuing?

and you'll have the bank letter, bank book, birth certificate, photos of you and the kids etc so you can apply for your extension correct?

It's a PILE of paperwork to get a 'guardian' extension (foreign parent of foreign child enrolled in school here on an ED visa)

I will have all the termination paperwork from my job and the paperwork for school. just need an appointment at changwattana which is proving hard to get. I know I can walk in but since I have the two little kids with me I’d like to minimize time spent waiting.

no I’m on an employment visa and my kids for my dependants. Switching to ED visas for them and guardian for me.
