Hello! My classic story:

Lived in Thailand for 5 years, built a house, a small business cafe, a guest house, a wife from Thailand. All this time I was in the country on a tourist visa without any violations ever. But one fine day the immigration service came to us .... as a result, deportation home. This happened in September, 2016, 3 years have already passed. I was voiced by one of the officers that deportation for 5 years due to illegal work, there is a stamp in my passport on my case. The officer at the airport was not able to voice the deadline for my deportation; I did not receive any deportation documents. Can anyone comment on my stamp, is there a deadline? Waiting for another 2 years is already unbearable, and scary, suddenly there are 100 years ... :(

TLDR : Answer Summary
An expat living in Thailand for five years was deported for working illegally on a tourist visa, facing a potential five-year ban. The individual is seeking clarification on the duration of the ban and whether they can return to Thailand to continue their business. Community members recommend consulting an immigration lawyer, checking with the Thai embassy regarding the Non-Immigrant B visa, and possibly having their spouse appeal for their return.

Have your wife go to Immigration, after a certain time your wife can file an appeal that you allowed back to stay with your family. Lawyer can not help. Let her go direct to IDC, there is a small Office where she can file the appeal. The Officers are helpful as long as no drugs involved. The appeal is THB1900, no need to pay extra,

Two translations both without black list. Get you wife to organize the business, let her apply for the Work Permit. In the mean time check with your Thai Embassy what is needed to get the Non Immigrant B visa, get all the documents and apply for this visa before you plan to return to Thailand. After you arrive, you pick up the work permit and can work again as described in the work permit. I close the commenting before all kind of members keep on telling that you made a bad decision in the past. You got busted and fined, hope you learned from it. Good luck

let just wait for a person who can and is willing to read the text of the stamp and translate is for us. In the mean time, if you can not or will not help us with this, just scroll on.

At the moment, my wife continues to develop our business, redeemed land, a house built, and of course I want to return home to continue the business and create a family.

All the time you signed a document with i shall not engage in any work or profession during my stay inside Thailand but running a small business cafe and a guest house on a tourist visa is without violations. Most people call it working, but okay, you got arrested for it, went to court, payed the fines, went to IDC bought a ticket back home and got your passport back on arrival in your home country. There must be some documents somewhere with the decision of the judge at the courtroom session, there must be a stamp in your passport with a number of years you are blacklisted to come back into Thailand and that number is set by the judge. It is not, sorry my friend you worked illegal on the wrong visa, here is a ticket back home and safe travels. Example of the stamp in your passport:
