Hey y'all, I'm currently in Bangkok on a 90 day tourist visa (just got my 30 day extension) and I've heard some talk about an ED Visa. Basically my question is: How do i get one with the least amount of effort in terms of attending class and what not?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The ED (Education) Visa in Thailand requires you to fulfill certain study requirements. Although there is a common interest in obtaining this visa with minimal effort, it mandates a minimum of 160 hours of study per year and a commitment to attend classes regularly (approximately 4 hours a week). Immigration officials verify class attendance, making it difficult to maintain an ED Visa without genuinely engaging in the educational program.
90 DAY REPORTING RESOURCES / SERVICES
Use the trusted Thailand 90 Day Reporting Service to get your in-person report done and mailed to you for as low as 375 THB (even if the online system doesn't work for you).
For immediate assistance, contact Thai Visa Centre directly via LINE at @ThaiVisaCentre or Email them.
Technically the requirement is 160 hours a year of study time, and you get 90 day extensions, with the school providing the documentation needed to keep getting these 90 day extensions. You basically have to go to classes 4 hours a week each and every week, minus holidays. Even though your visa is for a year, you still need these 90 day extensions for it to stay valid.
this is pretty much it, I just completed mine in October time.

If you want an ED visa just to stay in the country and not actually study, forget it. There is a class attendance requirement which immigration check up on.
