TLDR : Answer Summary
To obtain an education visa (ED visa) for Thailand, enroll in a school that will provide you with the necessary documentation from the Ministry of Education. Then, take this paperwork to a Thai consulate in another country to apply for a 90-day single entry ED visa.

After you enroll in a school, they get paperwork from the Ministry of Education and you take that to a thai consulate in another country and apply for a 90 day single entry ED visa

, lol i am not 100 % sure but i think teaching on line with no full support of a reliable school is not entitled to get a work permit, its even illegal.

i have doubt of what you try to do as it seems its to have "a more solid situation..."!

typical visa mill would be Tewi, Pro Language, Ola, etc, they have various offers from 9 onth to 16month, depending on Language.

I would say Google is your friend. Google Education visa thailand and you'll see the different subjects available.

At least now you know how it works visa and extension wise.

I would say choose a school that teach what you want to learn and spent time at classrooms.

What kind of school do you need to be enrolled in for the 90 days?
Tod *********
If you are enrolled in a real honest to goodness university to get a degree here you can get a yearly extension BUT you can't get one for studying at any private school.
Tod *********
As a rule no. You get a 90 day ED visa, then every 90 days you go to the immigration office and apply for a new 90 day extension. You do that for the entire year.
