Hi Guys,

Does anyone have a link or files for non-o marriage visa requirements and application documents? I'm also in need of work visa cancellation form.

I've looked through the government website and file section on group but can't seem to find what I'm looking for.

Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
The original post seeks information on the requirements and documents for a Non-O marriage visa, as well as a work visa cancellation form. The comments suggest that visa requirements can vary by immigration office and recommend visiting the local office for the most current requirements. Additionally, they clarify the process of switching from a work-based extension to a marriage-based extension without needing a Non-O visa.

I understand what you're asking, unfortunately the group doesn't have or provide that information, Robert told you that.. :/

You need to slog on out to Chaengwattana and get the hand out for the requirements to get a yearly extension based on marriage to a thai,

THEN you need to compile them, get the bank book updated, get the bank letter, the photos, the map etc, AND cancel your work permit, take your termination paperwork with you and go cancel the Extension based on employment and immediately apply for a yearly extension based on marriage to a thai

There are just too many immigration offices in thailand for us to have lists of what is or isn't required at each one. Sorry about that. It usually takes going to the office and getting the hand out each year to make sure you have the stuff they want :(

So let's get this straight, you are currently on an extension of stay based on employment which you are going to cancel and then you're immediately going to apply for a NEW yearly extension based on marriage to a thai national right?

You don't need a Non-O visa for that, your'e just switching reasons for your extension from one based on employment to one based on marriage

ok so the question is exactly same but what documents do I need to transfer onto an extension of stay 1 year for marriage to a Thai. I have the 400k in account

As there are over 70 Immigration Offices and not all of these offices use the same list of requirements, you wil not find the one list fits all.

Visit your Immigration Office and ask the latest updated list with requirments.

that's what I'm hoping to avoid as Chaengwattana immigration is a fair trip and in the current climate the less travel the better. I'm based on Bangkok.
