Hello yet again, I'm just a little confused so was hoping someone could clear this up for me...

I just called the London Thai embassy and they told me that to gain a non-immigrant O visa I just need to show 2 things - a copy of the marriage certificate and a copy of my partners thai passport or ID card.

No financial requirement needed to be shown. Can anyone confirm this from their own experience?

Thanks in advance, again! :)

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user called the London Thai embassy and was told that to obtain a non-immigrant O visa, they only need to provide a copy of their marriage certificate and a copy of their partner's Thai passport or ID card, with no financial requirements necessary. However, there is some confusion as the embassy's website mentions needing to provide 3 months of bank statements. Other commenters suggest trusting the information given by the embassy directly.

Ha, yes true. It's just the guy I spoke to at the embassy didn't seem to know himself so he had to go and ask someone else while I was on the phone. It left me slightly unsure...

If that is what they said - believe them. Of course that will only be a single entry.
