How strict is the process for extending a Non-O visa in Thailand under Covid guidelines?

Hi. How easy is it to acquire an extension on a Non-O? Mine expired several weeks back, I managed to get the usual two month extension but that expires on the 25th of this month. I heard now that Immigration are giving further extensions of one or two months after signing an affadivit, related to Covid? I need to sort a flight to the UK but would much rather stay here, but worried about spending a day at the Immigration office, for them to refuse me. So I'm basically asking how strict are they on additional Covid extensions, or are they pretty lenient? Thanks.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking guidance on extending their expired Non-O visa amidst Covid-related rules. They have already obtained a two-month extension but wish to know how strict immigration is regarding further extensions, especially the new one or two-month extensions communicated via affidavits. Community members have shared personal experiences indicating varying degrees of leniency from immigration, with one successfully obtaining an extension due to current travel restrictions.

Information for unmarried fathers to children.

Just been to immigration to get a family 60 day extension on my single non o visa which expires tomorrow.

They basically just filled in form and gave me a stamp due to covid travel restrictions till 13th January.

Took daughter and all her paperwork with me ( but never used).

Happy with outcome

print this off and take it in with you when you go to Chaengwattana to get your 60 day can't travel extension.

It's from the UK consulate and says they don't issue the letter
