TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around applying for a medical DTV (Digital Transformation Visa) in Vietnam, focusing on the strict requirements for providing bank statements. Users have noted that applicants must submit three months of bank statements showing a minimum balance of 500,000 THB and clarify the source of these funds. Furthermore, there are questions about how veterans can utilize their benefits for a medical DTV, with advice emphasizing the need for a detailed medical plan if applying for medical purposes.
If you don't mind me asking, did you go for the remote working or soft power option? If it was soft power that is the first I have personally heard of them asking to see proof of earnings for a soft power application. Thank you in advance for any help.
Anonymous participant 613 it was soft power. I think they asked because I am technically unemployed and do not have an income. It’s all savings from my last job
Read a lot that the final amount must be 500K and it doesn’t have to be on the account for 3 months. On the website it also says not that it have to be 3 months on the account.
You can find 1000s of posts from last year to this week which detail applicants approved in Vietnam with just a final balance of 500K. There is no seasoning requirement in Vietnam
it only says “an amount of no less than 500K THB” and that you have to provide the bank statements for the last three months. In Vietnam - you have to check if you apply at different embassy.
How would you use benefits as a medical DTV? For medical, you need to submit a medical plan, with hospital visit dates and procedure for over a 6-month period from a legit Thai doctor/hospital. Yes, they are strict with documents
