Hi, has anyone here applied for the DTV visa in Vientiane?

The rule says you need 500,000 THB in your bank account, but do they check if it’s there for 3–6 months, or is it OK if the money was deposited recently?

Would love to hear any recent experiences. Thanks! πŸ™

The post inquires about the DTV visa application process in Vientiane, specifically regarding the requirement of having 500,000 THB in a bank account. It questions whether the funds need to be held for 3-6 months or if a recent deposit is acceptable. Comments reveal that most applicants are asked to provide bank statements from the past 3 months, and there are also mentions of in-person interviews for document verification.

I wonder if they don't trust bank statement you submitted, will they require you to open the bank app to show the amount of savings?
