TLDR : Answer Summary
To apply for a DTV visa in Vietnam under the Muay Thai soft power initiative, there is a discussion regarding whether proof of 500,000 VND needs to come from a single bank statement or if it must be shown over a period of three months. Based on the comments, it appears that the requirements may vary, with some suggesting that one month may suffice in Hanoi, while others indicate that Ho Chi Minh City requires three months of statements.

HCMH doesn't not seem to be stricter, posts show it is more popular than Hanoi as approval is quicker.
