ORIGINAL POSTER
I have a few questions regarding the 1 yr Extension for the Non O marriage visa.

- based in BKK, so I will go to CW. I read that the under consideration period is 21 days there and that I can apply from -45days onwards. If I go early, letโ€™s say 40 days before, is the under consideration period still 21 days or the full 40 days?

- in regard to the bank letter with the 400k. I assume this is just the print out of all the past transactions + the signature of the branch manager right?

- those 6 pictures of me together with my wife have to be taken at specific locations within and in front of our condo?

Thanks a lot

TLDR : Answer Summary
This post discusses important details for applying for a 1-year extension of a Non-O marriage visa in Thailand. Key questions include the duration of the under consideration period when applying early, specifics regarding the bank letter required to verify funds, and the requirements for photographs with the spouse. Responses clarify that the under consideration period remains 21 days regardless of when you apply, that you need both a bank letter and a detailed transaction report, and that photographs should reflect shared spaces within the home.

Our photos were printed on photo paper.. ie. glossy.. and they rejected them at CM immigration.. telling us to have them photo copied onto A4 paper.. so best check what your specific immigration office wants!

Yep, it's 21 days and you get a stamp that says show up 3 weeks from the date you apply, you show up on that date and go to section L-2 to get the extension inked in

No you need actually TWO separate things from the bank the "standard bank letter" (it usually is just a few lines, has your name, the account number and the balance of the account the day the letter was written

You need to have them give you a detail transaction report showing the last 3 months (they can print 3 months on demand at most banks). That's to show the balance of 400K was in the bank for the requisite 2 months before you apply for your extension

don't forget to update your bank book the date you apply so it shows the balance that day

You two standing in front of your address numbers, (sometimes in front of the building name if it's a big complex) you two sitting in the living room, sitting in the dining area, standing in the kitchen etc,

I'd take a bunch of different ones, print them out and let the immigration officer choose which ones they want on the application. Make sure they are "full body" shots (don't cut your legs off in the photos)
