Hello everyone! 🙂 I need some answers for my Tourist visa (TR) 60 days application.

Any help would be great! 🙂🙏

How do I book this special accomodation for the first day?

How long does it normally take for the application to be approved? (Don't know how much in advance I should book the flight ticket.

I'm applying in Vienna.

Do I need to provide a ticket out of the country?

.. I might like to extend.

Many thanks 🙂

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user is seeking advice on applying for a Tourist visa (TR) in Vienna. They inquire about the accommodation needed for the first day, the duration for approval of their application, and whether they need to provide a ticket out of Thailand. Community members suggest booking a SHA Extra Plus hotel and provide details about the approval timeframe, which can take anywhere from a few seconds to several days depending on the review process. They also mention the necessity of including accommodation and possibly an outbound ticket in the application.

Pozdravujem Vás, my sme tiež žiadali vo Viedni, mala som tri žiadosti, každú samostatne a všetky tri boli schválené obdeň. Takže cca 2-3 dni, išlo to celkom rýchlo.

Jakub the visa process took me about 1 week to approve, you will need a flight already booked to upload to the application form as well as accommodation.

Im not sure if you need proof of a flight out of the country but probably a good idea to do so

I have booked 1 night at IBIS Sukhumvit for about 30.€,you have to add the price of pcr test and transportation from Airport, 25 €. It's a little cheapper than the packages which include food

I have paid all, so I have a proof to send to ask for Thaï pass. I think you can't take public transports before the test result but for taxi, I don't know. I prefer no taking any risk

in Bangkok the test is not done at the airport. It’s done at the hotel (or a test centre prior). The package includes the test and transport. You cannot use any other transport option.

Take a look at the Tourism Authority website at

explaining the different entry schemes. You need to book a SHA Extra Plus hotel for a Test & Go package for the first night. Thailand Pass applications get approved anymore from a few seconds if auto-approved by the computer, to 7 days if needing human review.
