How long does it normally take for the application to be approved? (Don't know how much in advance I should book the flight ticket.

Jakub the visa process took me about 1 week to approve, you will need a flight already booked to upload to the application form as well as accommodation.
Im not sure if you need proof of a flight out of the country but probably a good idea to do so

I have booked 1 night at IBIS Sukhumvit for about 30.€,you have to add the price of pcr test and transportation from Airport, 25 €. It's a little cheapper than the packages which include foodJakub ********

I have paid all, so I have a proof to send to ask for Thaï pass. I think you can't take public transports before the test result but for taxi, I don't know. I prefer no taking any riskStuart *********

in Bangkok the test is not done at the airport. It’s done at the hotel (or a test centre prior). The package includes the test and transport. You cannot use any other transport option.Reply to

explaining the different entry schemes. You need to book a SHA Extra Plus hotel for a Test & Go package for the first night. Thailand Pass applications get approved anymore from a few seconds if auto-approved by the computer, to 7 days if needing human review.Reply to
