What are the requirements and considerations for obtaining a DTV visa for moving to Thailand with a family?
Hello! Have questions about the DTV visa. Will be moving to Thailand in January 2027. I have myself and 4 children and will be retiring. I am only 40 so, I have to get something other than retirement visa. I manage my portfolio does that count as work? 😛

Apply for the DTV visa in Washington DC using the Evisa online application system.
Once you get yours approved...
Then you can apply for each family member.
Stay in the USA UNTIL YOU HAVE THE DECISION FROM THE THAI EMBASSY in Washington DC that your DTV Visa Application is approved and that your family members also are approved.

You can not apply in Thailand, outside of Thailand only. Washington is a good choice to apply fromAdam ******
