What are the requirements for applying for a DTV visa as a remote worker in Thailand?

Hi, I plan to apply DTV using workcation / remote worker and would like to seek some advice here.

I’m currently working as a part-time PA and

my boss is a self employed Financial Advisor for an insurance company. I would like to find out:

- is it compulsory to have a company name on the employment certificate? (I’m employed directly with my boss, not the insurance company)

- is there a minimum wages under workcation / remote worker

If there’s anyone in the group has similar situation, would appreciate if I can get some help.

Thanks in advance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user seeks advice on applying for a Digital Nomad Visa (DTV) while working part-time for a self-employed financial advisor. Key questions include whether it's mandatory to have a company name on the employment certificate and if there is a minimum wage requirement for remote workers. Responses indicate that a company name is not essential but an explanation of the direct employment relationship is required. Additionally, there is no minimum income requirement stated for the DTV visa.

Is the companys legal form an LLP? If this is the case, your boss would have approval to act as authority through the LLP as they will almost certainly be a designated partner.

Most financial advisers are set up this way, thats why I ask.

I'd find this out first to avoid any issues when applying. At the embassys they like things that fit comfortably inside their tickbox

No it is not compulsory to have a company name but you would need to explain you are hired directly by your boss not a company. I submitted a contract as a direct hire from a person. There is no minimum income requirement
