What is the process for a Chinese citizen to apply for a tourist visa to Thailand, and is there a legit agency for that?
Hi, I would like to ask for a legit agency that offers tourist visa application for Chinese citizens going to Thailand for 3 months. Thank you.
Answer summary
A Chinese citizen seeking to apply for a tourist visa for Thailand should note that there is currently a visa exemption policy allowing entry without a visa starting March 1st, 2024. For a tourist visa, they can apply for a 60-day single entry visa, which can be extended by 30 days at immigration. Applications for the tourist visa cannot be made from within Thailand; they must go to a neighboring country or return to China to apply through an embassy or consulate.

You can't apply for a tourist visa within Thailand - you need to go to a neighboring country or back to China to apply through an embassy or consulate. There's also no three-month visa for a tourist - different if applying for a retirement or other type of visa. There is a 60-day single entry tourist visa that can be extended for 30 days at Immigration.

Wait until March 1st then they can enter without a visa.

@Pete ******
they can already enter visa exempt since September 25th. The changes on March 1st is just making it permanent when it was supposed to expire.

visa exempt is always 30 days and can be extended one time for 30 days. Same rules apply as everyone else. Can be asked for proof of funds and onward travel.
