My fiancee is polish, she needs the equivalent of 2,700 euros for the last 3 months on her bank account in order to get a tourist visa.

1)Does someone know if that means 3 calendar months or 3 bank statement will do. If second option, it reduces by 1 month.

2)I have read this amount on a bank account requires salary money, is it still the case at the moment?

TLDR : Answer Summary
To apply for a tourist visa to Thailand, your fiancée must show that she has an equivalent of 2,700 euros in her bank account. This amount needs to be available for three calendar months, according to one comment. It is suggested that the source of the funds (salary or otherwise) is not as important as simply demonstrating the required amount in the account over the specified period. Additionally, an embassy representative noted that for other visa types, they typically check the closing balance on the statements monthly, ensuring the name and address on the statement match those of the applicant.

Check with your embassy but when o was looking into it when they wanted 500,000b in your account they wanted to see the closing balance of each month and name and address on the statement

notice that it doesnt say about daily average amount. We got a simple statement showing only the balance and her details. This was printed at the bank

this is quoted from official thai embassy in Poland : Proof of finance with the sufficient amont to cover the period of stay in Thailand as follows:

1) 30 euro/person/ day

2) 60 euro/family/ day

Thus, the bank statement of the applicant showing the balance of said amount every month for the last 3 months in English. The bank statement must show account owner.

closing balance of each month is not daily average balance. Those are very different. Its kind of incredible how rules are not specified clearly and how people have different answers for the exact same question

I don't think it's average. I don't think it's permitted to ever drop below the specified amount on any day.

so you have to perform a daily bank statement? sounds ridiculous

@Ben ***
Monthly bank statements automatically show each day's balance, it's completely standard.

oh then thats a new feature :-)

Calendar months. The source doesn’t matter, just the amount showing.
