Fly to KL/Sing/ Vientiane to apply for a 60 day visa returning via Test n Go? Try for an in country Covid extension? Advice appreciated.

which Immigration office they use is dependent on where they are staying.AND if staying in Bangkok, if they arrived Visa Exempt or with a Tourist Visa.
For Bangkok with Visa Exemption, they would go to Muang Thong Thani (MTT)

With American passports they should have had 30 days on arrival (visa exemption) and they can extend that 30 days

yes just wait if they extend covid thing will be perfect, if not Loas or vietnam they dont need bother getting visa as can come back in for 30 days and get an extension. Or spend 15 days exploring loas or vietnamReply to

Visa on arrival is for 15 days and can be extend by 7 days

their best bet is to see whether the covid extension is extended again or ends on Tuesday. If it ends then they'll need to make plans to either get different visa in country or leave.Reply to
