TLDR : Answer Summary
As of now, it's not officially confirmed that vaccinated tourists will be allowed into Phuket without quarantine starting from July 1st. While the plan is under consideration, various comments suggest that final approval and details are pending, with officials indicating that conditions may still change. It is advisable for tourists to wait for formal announcements that will be published in the Royal Gazette and to check for updates regarding travel conditions.
It will be official when published in Royal Gaztte, probably next Tuesday.
Officials are very cautious. And may modify conditions. And one little modification can change a lot.Last modification says you must stay at least 14 days in the island of Phuket.Last week it was 7 days...They will publish also a list of countries of provenance...
So the best is to wait another week to finalyze details.
14 days makes no sense! Looks like they just want to boost the economy and tourism in Phuket? 🤦♂️ Was already stuck there for weeks last year in April waiting for a repatriation flight. Looks like take 2 of the film is coming soon. F my luck haha.
all business and tourism sector try to stop 14 and come back to 7.Very huge protest.I think if good news about Covid it's possible come back to 7 days...or perhaps 10.Fog sailing.
7 would be reasonable... Let's see. I heard next week it will become official

No, it's being planned but not 100% yet. I'd wait before booking anything.

Cabinet discussed it yesterday and apparently agreed "in principle" but have sent it back to CCSA for some further tweaks. So at this point it has still not be approved for the gazette. Strongest advice as Garrett has pointed out don't book anything just yet. And never listen to what embassies and airlines are putting out!!

Everything we have read the Bangkok Post, the national news Bureau of Thailand, Richard borrow they all say that it is starting July 1st
While it is mostly likely to proceed it is not official yet. In fact today the government rejected the plan as it exists and will look at it again next week for approval after changes are made. So still need to wait at least another week for finak approval and to see the final details and requirements.
