Can I travel to Cambodia and back to Thailand without a vaccination if my covid extension is about to expire?

I arrived in December on tourist visa, got 60 days covid extention last week.

Did you go through an agency or did you do it yourself? I went to an agency and got mine and asked them they thought it would be the last time it was available.

Nothing is certain of course, but they believe due to humanitarian reasons and because there will always be new variants it’s covid extension won’t be ending just yet. But who knows?

Perhaps Vietnam is a better option. It's just a 72 hour PCR test before arrival..you can now get 15 day visa exception on arrival, depending on which passport you have.

Still have the 14 days Quarantine unfortunately. Nuts

Vietnam is open with just a test (PCR 72 hours / ATK 24 hours). Even visa free entry is reinstated for certain countries. Returning to Thailand would be the bigger pain in that case.

You came with an STV? Why did you opt for covid extension then instead of regularly extending your STV for another 3 months? Anyways: Did they give a reason as to why another covid extension could not be done? I had a covid extension ending on March 25 myself and got another one until May 24 now. Initially they said cannot. Then they wanted to give only 30 days. Too many immigration officers just don’t know the rules properly. We explained it to them and walked out with what I wanted - and what the current legislation allows: another covid extension.

It's possible, but you'd be looking at a total of 24 days in quarantine!

Cambodia just updated the rules for vaxxed. Unvaxxed is still 14 day quarantine... this is from the Cambodia Visa and Work Permit Advice FB group.

Think you better off returning to your home country

I don’t know the rules for not being vaccinated and entry to Cambodia.

To get back in to Thailand you’d need to do 10 days quarantine in an approved hotel room.
