Successfully applied for 60 day covid extension today at Chaeng Wattana - I've had multiple in the last 6 months

If you book a time slot you have to explicitly go to the immigration official and inform them - my time wasn't called and this was what I was told.

If you've been here over 90 days they will ask you to do 90-day report - make sure keep in passport and you have to also photocopy this along with EVERY page since the visa you entered on: not just last stamp and visa etc

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user successfully applied for a 60-day COVID extension at Chaeng Wattana, sharing important tips about the process. They mentioned that booking a time slot requires informing the immigration official upon arrival, highlighting that appointments aren't automatically acknowledged. Additionally, for those staying in Thailand for over 90 days, a 90-day report is required, emphasizing the need to photocopy every page of the passport from entry, not just the visa stamp.

Is this a different immigration office than Muang thong thani? Why go there instead if I may ask?

It depends on what visa you entered on. People who entered on a visa exempt use Muang Thong Thani, people who entered on a tourist visa use Changwattana

I'm on a tourist visa. do i select "Extension for Tourist Visa (TR) issued by Thai Embassy or Consulate" ? I assume so, because I don't see anythnig about covid extensions on this site, it will be an appointment for a covid extension 60 days?

@Dylan ********
as long as you BOUGHT your tourist visa from a thai consulate in your country before you winged your way here and when you arrived you were stamped in to thailand for 60 days that is the choice you want

Thanx for the update about having to TELL the officer in the section you're in you have an appointment booked (y)

AND

Thanx for the 90 day report warning too (that's a little more hit and miss though and seems to be governed by the stamp you originally went to covid extensions from.) What was your original stamp/extension you started covid extensions on?

Glad you got it, just curious were you asked for proof of onward travel?

Tourist Visa. Last time when i went at 3pm 2 months ago i was asked for flight tickets prior to even sitting down with the official and it was taken away, today i wasn't explicitly asked because I had included it already and i was asked to sign the flight confirmation. Went 9am this time
