Got my 60 days extension today at CW office Bangkok. Thanks to this great group I had all my documents ready and the whole process didn't take more than 20 minutes.
Some findings:
- the immigration officer was pretty strict. I had to re-do my passport copies because the size was "too small" (I usually take a pictures and print them out, last time they were accepted)
- guy in front of me was sent home because he had no TM30. I had my TM30 prepared but wasn't asked for it (same officer)
- I arrived around 7:30am today and the ATK test stations weren't setup yet. So if somebody is concerned about being tested, probably they should arrive early.
- I have to do 90 day reporting but counting from today, means my first report would be 1 month after the extension ends
Hope my information is helpful for some of you. Again thanks to the admins of this group, your help is very much appreciated!
This user successfully obtained a 60-day visa extension at the Chiang Wattana Immigration Office in Bangkok. They shared insights about the strict document requirements, particularly regarding passport copy sizes and the necessity of having a TM30 form. They noted that the immigration process was efficient, taking only 20 minutes, but mentioned that arriving early is important as ATK test stations were not set up at their arrival time. Additionally, they explained the timeline for their upcoming 90-day reporting based on the extension.

, OP said he already got a 30days tourism extension in the previous post.
TM7 is the form you need to fill out to apply for any extension including Covid. You also need some more forms to apply for an extension based on being unable to travel due to the Covid situation.
