I'm already on my 2nd covid extension, I'll be applying for my 3rd tomorrow as mine expires on 29th.

Update, no problem, in and out in 15 mins at MTT. Visa exempt. Under consideration stamp 28th. They told me 60 days from 29th.

You can get another Extension of Stay due to unable to travel because of COVID-19. The requirements are the same.

Different immigration offices have different requirements, but all require the following:

1. Your passport and:

a. a copy of your data ("picture") page

b. a copy of your most recent visa (if you have one)

c. a copy of your most recent stamp

d. a copy of your departure card

2. A TM30, filed in the immigration office.

3. The forms (each immigration office may have different forms)

4. A letter from your embassy saying you can not return, OR a print out from your embassy saying they don’t issue the letters.

5. 2x passport pictures

6. 1,900 THB.

Different immigration offices have different policies. *SOME* may require:

- The ID card of the property owner where you are staying

- Copies of *ALL* stamped pages in your passport

I went to MTT to get my first covid extension on Nov 24, and it expires on Jan 23rd. Planning to get a 2nd extension next week. But the immigration lady who gave me this extension (on Nov24th) told me that this would be the last extension (not sure if she was trying to scare me off or what). So there have been plenty of cases of people getting a 2nd covid extension right? Thanks.

I have not heard of anyone getting rejected for a 60 day extension of stay based on unable to travel due to COVID-19. According to the official announcement, the last day they are selling it is January 29.

I was told today that I couldn’t. That could be because my current one expires feb 6, but I am hoping to apply before the 29th cut off date

@Elham *******
And how would the security guard know that? Did you ask to speak to an immigration officier?

@Benj****
he was the one taking visa questions at the information desk. I went in today to ask and pick up the different forms to fill out. He wouldn’t let me through to anyone else.

@Elham *******
You have until January 30th... I recommend returning the last week of January and trying again.
