Chaeng wattana 60 day “covid” extension on a tourist visa
Went early this morning and was 49 in the queue. Service was very fast. When I left it was very busy with crowds of people standing around at the entrance so if you are worried about distancing I’d get there earlier in the day.
They are still issuing “under consideration” stamps and I have to return in 2 weeks to pick up the rest of my visa.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user shared their experience of obtaining a 60-day COVID extension on their tourist visa at Chaeng Watthana. They reported that the process was quick, with only 49 people ahead of them in line, and they received an 'under consideration' stampe. Users were advised to arrive early due to potential crowds and noted improvements in social distancing measures inside the office.
Barely front of you in the queue at CW doing a Covid extention on my marriage visa. In and out in about 40 minutes. Fewer people than I am used too, but also fewer IOs serving the L1 counter. Don't know if that is due to managing the workforce to avoid Covid, or if some took the long holiday off. Those going on the 27th and beyond should plan accordingly. They have noticably better control of social distancing once you are inside the office than I have ever seen before. Back in two weeks for the second stamp.
