60 day covid extension success - Bangkok

Went to Muang Thong Thani today to extend visa, originally different type but didn't have right documents, they offered covid extension as temporary alternative. Whilst there at least 2 others got theirs approved. Immigration officers didn't ask any questions just said it's 60 days from today and 1900B.

Individual experiences may vary. This isn't to say they will approved everyone but just my experience today at this particular centre.

Answer summary

The author successfully obtained a 60-day COVID visa extension at the Muang Thong Thani immigration office in Bangkok. Initially facing issues with their original visa type due to missing documents, they were offered a temporary COVID extension instead. The process was straightforward with no questions asked from the immigration officers, and others had similar positive experiences.
