60 day COVID extension CW :

Thank you for this group, today I got my 60 day extension done at CW in record time, was in and out in 30 minutes. Thanks Tod Daniels and the group for suggesting to book an online appointment. I strongly recommend this to everyone. There was no fuss just a lot of forms which they give you at counter to sign, no embassy letter or rent agreement or owner ID asked. Just their forms and photocopy of all pages of your passport.

Asked to come back in 2 weeks to get the stamp for 60 days

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user shared their experience of obtaining a 60-day COVID extension at the Chaengwattana Immigration Office, completing the process in 30 minutes with minimal fuss. They emphasized the importance of booking an online appointment and noted that only a photocopy of all pages of the passport was required, without needing an embassy letter or rental agreement. They were advised to return in two weeks for the stamp. The comments echo inquiries about the documentation needed and the differences between Chaengwattana and other offices regarding appointment bookings and requirements.

Let's clear this up.

The reason they say copy ALL pages of your passport is for one reason only.

Most foreigners don't know what the relevant pages are.

The pages you need copies of are:

-data page (the one with your picture)

-original entry stamp

-EVERY extension stamp since then (to tie the entry stamp until your current stay)

Hi! You went to Chaengwattana right? And we need to book online now? I thought I read it somewhere here that online booking is only needed in MTT?

Thanks.

i also don't see any booking for CW on the immigration booking site

yes because it wasn’t needed in Chaengwattana, only in MTT. But he mentioned he got it so🤷🏻‍♀️

, Just for people who are going to apply from now, would you please clarify what you mean "all pages" copy of your passport? Because some offices require all stamped pages including old ones, some require only latest stamp pages, or some require literally all passport pages including blank pages...

Hi thanks for your update. Could I ask if all 60 day Covid extensions now being done in CW and not MTT anymore?

@Jay ********
, which immigration office you have to go depends on what kind of stamp you have (latest entry or extension pre-covid, unless you applied for new non-immigrant type visa/extension)

If you are asking just which office issues Covid extension, the answer is 'both'.

I can't comment on it. I got it done at CW

Why do you have to come back in two weeks? They don’t do it in the same day?

it's all done the same day. You just need to come back for a stamp. I think it's just to ensure you get the full 60 days
