Hi all
I got news, many ppl got rejected on the embassy at yangon for applying ED visa, embassy said they now do some checking to the school so they cannot accept another ED application atm, and another ppl that had previous ED visa is rejected too and cannot apply more because he already had 1 ED visa. Im not sure this applied to all embassy or only this particular embassy.
In addition, they said now Phillipines and Myanmar no longer able to apply for ED visa, those country ran out of option now
TLDR : Answer Summary
There have been reports of increased rejections for ED visa applications at the Thai Embassy in Yangon, specifically linked to the verification of language schools. Current applicants from Myanmar and the Philippines are facing significant hurdles, with no further applications being accepted due to these checks. Some individuals with previously issued ED visas are also being denied reapplication. While successful applications for Non O, Non B, or Tourist visas were noted, it appears that the scrutiny on ED visas has intensified, raising concerns over potential labor shortages as many struggle to meet the new verification standards.
