If you want to apply for the “Vietnam DTV visa” you are in the wrong group. We are discussing here about “Thailand DTV visa”. But in case you want to apply for the second one, then the answer is yes, yes, you need 500k in your bank account for the last 3 months and yes, they check. Maybe you ask the same question again in 4 months

You asked the same question 4 months ago. If you wanted the visa and to be sure, you had 4 months (now that you are asking again) to ensure you had 500k the entire time
