I want to apply for DTV Muay Thai Visa in HCMH. Will they accept "Questrade" brokerage financials? Or do I have to transfer to Wise/Canadian Bank? Please share if you have any direct experience.
Answer summary
The individual is inquiring about the acceptability of Questrade financials for the DTV Muay Thai visa application in Ho Chi Minh City. Community responses suggest that funds should be in a real bank account, with several users recommending the use of Wise or a Canadian bank account for the financial requirement of 500,000 THB. There is mention of variability in acceptance, emphasizing to check with the specific Thai embassy or consulate regarding the limits of using different financial platforms.

Worth checking with immigration about the Muay Thai DTV specifics for Canadians. ED visas for Muay Thai are legit but require attendance and records for spot-checks.
that depends on the Thai Embassy or Consulate where you are going to apply for the DTV visa. There's mixed acceptance of Wise. Read the posts of those who have obtained the DTV visa from the Thai Embassy or Consulate where you are going to apply. And read the Thai Embassy or Consulate websites.
Due to previous posts in here I went with a 9 month. I heard 6 month is a bit sketchy. They may try to give you an METV if they don’t see that you’re ready to commit to 9-12 months. But I’m not 100% sure on that - just going on what people are posting here. I can keep you updated with my journey if you want. Feel free to msg me
