Krabi Immigration Covid Extension Report (Mar 24th)
Received "Under Consideration" stamp dated 14 days from the end of current stamp so back here April 14th.
I saw one foreigner leaving as I entered and another leaving when I left. No lines, it was relatively quick. 30-40 minutes.
I'm a US Citizen on:
Visa on Arrival 30 Days (from March 18th)
Needed ONE signed copy each:
- passport info page
- entry stamp and signature card (on same photocopy is fine)
- Any/all previous extension stamps since entry
- 1 passport photo
- FEE: I gave them 2000 and didn't receive change or a receipt. I waited for a confused moment since I am well trained in handing over 2k and waiting for the 100 baht change and receipt. It never came and I was then dismissed. You may want to bring exact change.
**
They don't have a photocopy shop there. They were nice enough to copy the things I was missing, but I wouldn't count on that if they happen to be busy so I would recommend over-preparing and get your copies done in town first.
***TM 30 - I have not had anything resembling a permanent residence in 10 years so this has been a hassle for me during covid. As I know the online system is currently down I asked my hotel to write up a paper receipt which was enough for them.
The receipt was for 2 nights booked. I arrived yesterday and will leave tomorrow and it looks like I'll be back this way in a few weeks.
