2nd extension of stay.
The 1st extension of stay from my non-O visa will expire on 1 May 2023. My next 90-day report is due on 26 February 2023.
I'm planning a trip out of Thailand from February to March. I'm in Chiang Mai and I have a UK passport.
What is the earliest date I could do the 90-day report and get the re-entry permit to leave in February?
Should I apply for my second extension of stay before or after the Songkran holiday when I return at the end of March / beginning of April?
Thank you.
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user, holding a UK passport on a NON-O visa in Chiang Mai, is seeking advice about their upcoming 90-day report due on February 26, 2023, while planning a trip out of Thailand from February to March. They want to know the earliest date to obtain the 90-day report and re-entry permit before leaving in February. Additionally, they are inquiring whether to apply for their second extension of stay before or after the Songkran holiday, which occurs at the end of March/beginning of April. It is suggested that they can purchase a re-entry permit any time before their current visa stamp expires on May 1, 2023, and they can apply for the second extension starting March 17, 2023.
