TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking clarification on the requirements needed to obtain a Non-Immigrant O Visa after being rejected by a medical insurance provider. They have previously lived in Chiang Mai and are considering different ways to secure the visa. Various comments suggest that they might need to provide documentation regarding their visa type and explain the conversion process from an O-A to an O visa, including the necessity of mandatory insurance.

but at moment only the non immi O-A need the insurance

This is how you convert an O-A extension into an O visa and then a year extension of stay to get out of the mandatory insurance requirement
i have the same problem you must wait if the visa is finishd and than must make a immi o - than you come to here back or you go out from thailand with no permit than the visa was finishd too
and make a extension of stay

I think he means an OA Visa

You have an A A O visa? And you been knocked back by a medical insurance? I not understand the visa type, sorry. Can you please explain what kind of Visa you have?
You go abroad without any valid stay left in your passport and apply for the Non Immigrant O visa at a Thai Consulate.
Or you apply for a Single Entry Tourist Visa or use the Visa Exempt Entry if you know that your Immigration Office can convert these to a Non Immigrant O visa and you have all the requirements in order
