Hi, I'm currently going through the process of filling out my details to gain a visa from the the UK to enter Thailand.
My question is: on the application page where you upload your passport and other documents it states you need to upload your insurance cover note, do you actually need this just to apply for being able to apply for your visa? and if so who are you guys from the UK using for your insurance?
Thanks
TLDR : Answer Summary
The application for a visa to Thailand does indeed request the upload of an insurance cover note. However, it's important to note that for the O visa specifically, it may not be needed at the time of applying from the embassy, but you will need it later when applying for the Certificate of Entry (COE) to travel to Thailand. Many applicants from the UK are using various insurance providers, including Pacific Cross and those specializing in COVID-19 insurance.
